Cosmopolitan Logistics Limited is a licensed freight forwarding, logistics, procurement and supply company registered in Ghana and headquartered at TDC Towers, Community 2, Tema, Greater Accra, Ghana. We are the data controller for personal data processed through this website and through our commercial logistics operations.

We only collect data you choose to give us, or that is necessary to move your cargo:

• Enquiry and quote forms — name, work email, phone number (optional), company name, department of interest and the content of your message.
• Newsletter — the email address you submit.
• Operational data — consignee and shipper contact details, commercial invoices, packing lists, customs declarations and delivery addresses provided by clients for the execution of shipments.
• Technical data — anonymised page-level analytics such as pages viewed, approximate region and device type.

• To respond to quote requests, tenders and general enquiries.
• To deliver contracted services — customs clearance, freight booking, warehousing, haulage and last-mile distribution.
• To comply with legal duties owed to the Ghana Revenue Authority (Customs Division), port authorities, carriers and regulators.
• To send quarterly insights where you have opted in. Every email carries an opt-out.
• To secure, maintain and improve this website.

We process personal data on the basis of your consent (enquiry and newsletter forms), the performance of a contract (service delivery), compliance with a legal obligation (customs and tax records), and our legitimate interests in operating and securing our business — in each case as permitted by the Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843) of Ghana.

We never sell personal data. We share it only where it is necessary to complete a shipment or meet a legal duty:

• Shipping lines, airlines, hauliers and terminal or port operators.
• Customs, revenue and regulatory authorities in Ghana and destination markets.
• Vetted technology providers who host our website and store form submissions under written confidentiality and security terms.

Website submissions are transmitted over TLS and stored in an access-controlled database that is write-only from the public site — nothing submitted through the site can be read back from it. Access is restricted to authorised Cosmopolitan Logistics personnel on a need-to-know basis.

Enquiry records are kept for up to 24 months from last contact. Newsletter records are kept until you unsubscribe. Customs, shipping and financial documentation is retained for a minimum of six years where required by Ghanaian tax and customs law.

You may request access to the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or erase it, object to or restrict its processing, or withdraw consent at any time. Write to info@cosmopolitanlogisticservices.com and we will respond within 30 days. You may also lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Commission of Ghana.
